The Alleghany Highlands Free Clinic (AHFC) is one of 30+ free clinics in Virginia and an active member of the Virginia Association of Free Clinics ( VAFC). Clinical services are provided entirely by licensed health care professionals who volunteer their time.  Oversight is provided by Michael Lassere, MD Volunteer Medical Director and Hassan Honainy, MD Assistant Medical Director.

Primary Care Available in Low Moor and Hot Springs

Primary care is available at the Free Clinic, located in the Emmett Medical and Surgical Clinic in Low Moor, VA as well as in a private practice setting in Hot Springs, VA..

Eligibility 

Free Clinic services are available to low-income, uninsured adults and children of Alleghany and Bath Counties and the Cities of Clifton Forge and Covington. These are individuals and families whose income is too high to qualify for public assistance but not sufficient to afford health insurance. Patients are required to provide proof of income at a confidential eligibility screening.
