Really, wouldn't you love to be able to cruise this lot?

This page has grown as pics have been sent to me. Check out some more fine VW Convertibles...

Herman's 72 convertible Wonderful and informative site you have ! We visited many "beetle" sites on the web, but we are sure that your opening image is still the very best of all !! (Thanks Herman!)

Here is a photo of our '63 we picked up in NC this summer. We replaced the white vinal top with a beige cloth made by TMI. Looking forward to showing it here in Pittsburgh and the Northeast.

Jeanese I just bought this 1972 convertible beetle bug. I first owned a beetle bug when I was 16 years old. I am now 28 years old, and it took me 2 years to find a convertible.

Pete's 70 This is Pete's 1970 bug. Very Nice car!
Hi there, just discovered your page filled up with nice convertibles, thought mine would look nice on it too. It's a 1972 1303 convertible, imported from Germany in 1998. The outside could be better, but inside and technical everything is 100%. I use it every day to get to the office, it never lets me down.

Bill's 79 (Bill is selling this car.)" I am the original owner of this 79 (original invoice available.) Almost everything is original with the exception of a rear fender that my daughter backed into and the motor has been changed back to a carburetor (at the advice of two local VW mechanics.) It was stored in a barn in Western Virginia for a few years while we were overseas and has less than 80K miles on it. I'm selling because I am getting a little too old for a VW and need a little comfort in my old age."E-Mail me if you're interested in purchasing this car!
This car was just bought after being found sitting in a heated garage after 20 years. It looks great..the top and rubbers are still plyable..and it is a super.. Wink's 68
Daisy Here are two (left and below) of our 4 pride and joys.. Daisy is a 1957 European vert with 31,000 miles on her since new! Her color is original-- Bamboo Green. She came with all of her accessories, including her German title and plates.
Katy our 66 vert is a three time show winner and appeared in March 2001 Hot VW's feature article.. she has 82,000 original miles-- even her top is original! We also have a 79 Triple black vert with 60,000 original miles..and a 57 oval, Maggie. We have a web site www.geocities.com/decker_carolyn called the Volkswagen Ranch! Regards. Katy
I just ran across your site. I am a convertible owner since we bought our 56 VW from my wife's aunt. She bought the car brand new so it's basically a one family car. This car is unrestored. The only changes made on the car are a new top, padding and headliner. Lenny at WestCoast Classics did a great job on it. He also redid the steering wheel, steering post and emergency brake handle. The seats still have the original upholstery. Same drive train in the car it does have new tires. Two years ago we took the first place award for out catagory at the Ervine Meadows VW Classic show in Orange County CA. - Jim Gauderman
This is Frankie's 1969 convertible.
Gretel Gretel is our 1984 Rabbit Convertible. My sister bought the car new in Germany then had it shipped to the East Coast. They drove it back to Wyoming, where it lived until summer of 2000. She needed garage space, so graciously gave my wife the car.
It is an absolute cherry. It has 45,000 miles on it, always been garaged, everything is spotless. The only non original stuff on it are new tires, and an aftermarket CD player. (If you have any advice on putting better than stock speakers in a rabbit, let me know.) - CTVert

E-mail me VW (esp. convertible) pics if you want me to post them on the "lot".
