Well, here we are at last! I am finally able to get some of my favorite memories up on the net to share with you all. It was Friday, April 16, 1999, when Chris and I ventured to the big DDAY Parade in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! It was our first time in Tennessee, and I was freakin' out at the mere thought of actually seeing DOLLY up close and personal!
You all know that our first trip to Tennessee would not be complete unless we made the pilgrimage to Sevier
County's Courthouse. Why, you ask? Well, that is where the famous bronze statue of our Queen, Miss Dolly resides! I was speechless to say the least. I wanted to cry so bad, but the tears wouldn't come. It was truly a grande moment! Chris was more than happy to share that moment, as well as countless others, with me! Thanks, honey!
