Hey folks! I wanted to mention to you all to be sure and set your VCR's for 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 1999. Why, you ask? Well, it seems that the people over at The 33rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards have decided to induct our Miss DOLLY into the
Country Music Hall of Fame!

It is so exciting! Can you believe it?! Finally, Dolly is being recognized for her talents and contributions to the Country Music Community! It pleases me greatly that the CMA directors are seeing fit to induct our country music heroes into the Country Music Hall of Fame before they "roll over and kick the bucket!" Too often, our beloved artists are long gone before they can enjoy this pinnacle of success with their family, friends, and adoring fans! Way to go CMA! We are proud of your decision to give our Miss DOLLY her propers!

On another note, Don't forget to set your VCR's for Dolly's made for tv movie, 'Blue Valley Songbird', titled from a single on her last solo album, Hungry Again. The jist of the movie is that Dolly's character has to overcome her past involving an abusive father before she can achieve country music stardom. I hear that Dolly dawns a red wig for this flick. It should be quite entertaining. The film also stars fellow country crooner, Billy Dean, who tries to woo our Dolly! It is scheduled to air on cable tv's Lifetime Channel on Monday, November 1, 1999. You may want to double check your local listings for proper air times for your area.
