David is an Eagle Scout.
Christy was a Girl Scout for many years--until high school activities and music became a higher priority.
Johnny is a Life Scout--working on Eagle.

The boys say they should have a web page, www.disaster.com, for their (in)famous disasters in camping! Including:
 

Storms (guaranteed!)
Poison Ivy
Bee stings
Flat tires (especially on biking weekends)
Broken legs (2 in the space of 5 minutes!)
Broken arms

Even so, we let them do some fire safety training at the Westvaco fire-fighting training site.

 
 

Troop 942

Virginia Skyline Girl Scout Council

Disbanded when high school activities made it difficult/impossible to get the girls together for meetings.

GS Troop 942 Girl Scout Troop 942 celebrated the 85th Birthday of Girl Scouting in the US (March 1997) with a chalk painting on the playground.
